The Faculty of Political Science and International Studies is one of the largest teaching and research units of its kind, not only in Poland, but also throughout Central and Eastern Europe. The Faculty operate as a part of the best and the largest Polish university – the University of Warsaw. Close to three and a half thousand students gain knowledge within our walls on both a full-time and part-time basis. We offer five full-time english-speaking programmes. Within the structures of the Faculty the Chair for Strategic Studies and International Security is functioning, which is responsible for conducting research on various aspects of international security, including arms control, non-proliferation and disarmament, with particular attention given to the problems of European Security and NATO and European Union activities in this field.
